With the start of a new year, Dining Services is offering new features at student eateries, as well as meal plan purchase incentives for juniors and seniors.

New Ordering and Food Options

At all on-campus dining locations, “students will find a wide variety of seasonal, on-trend menus, crafted with local ingredients, authentic flavors, and fresh produce,” said dining services district manager Don Stanwick. “From burgers to freshly prepared pizza and pasta, they will always find something to satisfy their daily cravings.” As always, offerings will also cover dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, allergen-friendly, and gluten-free.

Advance Ordering with Boost

Boost Mobile App icon

The introduction of the Boost Mobile App will allow students to order certain items from Frank Dining Hall and the Coop in advance for pickup, or even while they are already in the facility.

Breakfast

Frank Dining Hall will feature Boost Mobile ordering at the coffee and omelet stations so that students on the run craving a morning coffee, tea, breakfast sandwich or omelet can order ahead of time. The app can be used by students on a meal plan, or for retail purchases by those not on a meal plan.

Late Night

From 8:00 p.m. to midnight daily, students will be able to use the Boost app to purchase breakfast sandwiches, grill items, salads, and specials for pickup at the Coop in O’Connor Campus Center.

Deli

The former C-Store in O’Connor Campus Center will be renovated to include a new deli offering made-to-order hot and cold sandwiches. For a single meal swipe, students will receive a sandwich, pickle, homemade chips, and a beverage. The same location will also continue to serve smoothies as a convenient grab-and-go option for anyone who needs a quick meal throughout the day. And, students will have a chance to help name the deli through a contest.

Sono at Donovan’s Pub

Sono is taking over Donovan’s Pub in the J.C.C. Student Union for lunch every weekday. Sono combines the ingredients and cooking styles of Latin America’s rich and varied cultures. Guests can choose from among their favorite options, like tacos, burritos, and rice bowls, plus a few new options such as quesadillas. They can add components, such as freshly prepared proteins, toppings, and salsa — and can order ahead using the Boost mobile app.
