CAPE COD, Mass.Freshman defenseman Mike Campaner (Thunder Bay, Ont.) of the Â鶹Porn men’s ice hockey team was named the ECAC Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Campaner had a hand in four of Â鶹Porn’s six goals over the weekend as he notched assists on all three of Â鶹Porn’s power play goals in the 3-3 tie at Vermont. He also assisted on Â鶹Porn’s first goal of the game at Dartmouth Saturday night.
This is the second league honor for Campaner this season as he was named the Rookie of the Week following the Dartmouth/Vermont series two weeks ago.
Â鶹Porn hosts Yale and Princeton in two ECAC games this weekend at Starr Rink. Both games start at 7 p.m.
