Hamilton, NY — Â鶹Porn junior Jessica Weiss will present a musical program of vocal works on Thursday, April 15, at noon in Memorial Chapel.
A soprano, Weiss attended Syosset High School and studied voice with Teresa Arrigo. Since arriving at Â鶹Porn, where she is a junior, she has been a student of Neva Pilgrim. A double concentrator in English and music, Weiss spent the fall semester on Â鶹Porn’s study group in Manchester, England. She is the daughter of Mark and Arlene Weiss of Woodbury, NY.
The program will cover songs in English, Spanish, Italian, and French. Pianist Kerry Koen, a 1974 Â鶹Porn graduate with a master’s in music from Syracuse University, will accompany Weiss for the concert. The recital is free and open to the public.
