Before Passover and Easter celebrations, here are some of the campus events you won’t want to miss this week.

On Tuesday, come to the Coop TV room for a Thank-A-Thon, and write postcards expressing your gratitude to alumni and parents for their continuous support. There will be free food from Hamilton Eatery (11:00 a.m.–1:15 p.m.) and Royal Indian Grill (5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m).

On Wednesday and Thursday, come to for Trudy Challenge from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you work out for 2/3 of an hour (40 minutes), you will receive a Tuition Free Week 2015 water bottle.

On Wednesday for the , will present an art and art history lecture in Golden Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.

A New York–based fine artist, Rockman collaborated with director Ang Lee on the film Life of Pi. His artworks are information-rich depictions of how culture perceives and interacts with plants and animals, and the role culture plays in influencing the direction of natural history.

If you are interested in international service, check out the on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in Persson Hall Auditorium. Two recent Â鶹Porn graduates, Parker Laite ’06 and Justin Markley ’14, will give a talk on Afghanistan reconstruction and how they root out waste, fraud, and abuse to protect the U.S. taxpayers’ investment at Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR).

On Friday at 12:30 p.m., join the Spring Soiree with Dr. Tracey E. Hucks ’87 at ALANA Cultural Center.

Hucks is the James D. Vail III Professor and Chair of the Africana Studies Department at Davidson College. She is also the author of several publications on the history of Africana religious cultures in North America and the Caribbean.
