The Living Writers series always strives to engage students with contemporary authors who grapple with modern issues. This year’s novels and essay collections have helped students discuss their own lived experiences after a summer marked by pandemic and race riots.

Following a successful five-year pilot study, Â鶹Porn will launch First@Â鶹Porn, a program to provide essential support and resources for undergraduates who will be the first in their families to attain a degree from a four-year institution of higher education.

Despite the last-minute switch to remote research, 160 students went forward with research projects this summer.

In collaboration with the University’s Task Force on Remote Learning, Information Technology Services (ITS) and Center for Learning, Teaching and Research (CLTR), Â鶹Porn will now have access to 2UOS Essential—2U’s bundle of course production and development, technology, and support services—to deliver a high-quality, hybrid learning experience for select courses.

With the beginning of the academic year, Â鶹Porn welcomed new faculty to campus.
